Surfer is driven to continue delivering the best possible product experience for clients engaged in SEO focused activities, and to support the next wave of growth we’re looking for a Lead Gen & Outbound Sales Manager.
In this role, you will:
- build robust E2E outbound campaigning process from scratch, including lead generation, data enrichment, orchestration and closing;
- drive hands-on the process of identifying new channels of engaging with individuals or organizations matching Surfer’s ideal customer profile, with the aim of creating interest in Surfer solutions and ultimate goal of converting them into potential customers;
- demonstrate both pragmatic and creative approach to identifying and researching lead sources and approaching prospect accounts incl. sourcing databases of leads, crafting personalized messaging for approaching them, following-up and hand-off to sales team when appropriate;
- deploy tools to deduplicate existing customer database, cleanse email lists prior to cold emailing campaigns to maintain high domain reputation and enriching leads with data for increased customization of campaign messaging;
- with the help of colleagues from marketing and growth teams, orchestrate (multi-channel) campaigns to build Surfer awareness and drive conversion among Surfer prospective users;
- identify, explore and test new demand gen channels for Surfer including among others communities of SEO experts, professional networking sites, online marketplaces for SaaS solutions and software comparison sites;
- put new ideas to market tests, A/B testing messaging and tactics across channels and stakeholder groups, rigorously evaluating each lead gen campaign with intention to scale the most promising ideas;
- work with data and engineering teams to ensure tracking and attribution analytics are in place;
- build, train and mentor a high-performing team of business development representatives to ensure efficient and effective follow-up process on most promising accounts.
The ideal candidate will:
- have demonstrated know-how in the online demand generation and outbound sales, ideally in B2B SaaS;
- have strong drive and sufficient managerial experience in setting up new, successful sales channels and approaches, alongside high performing team;
- be a self-starter, tech savvy and analytical, able to effectively drive cross-functional collaboration to get the right tools in place for execution and performance tracking of lead gen & online sales efforts;
- have deep understanding of tools leveraged for online lead gen and sales and best practices in doing cold outreach to target audiences as well as be familiar with any of the mainstream CRM systems;
- be both strategic and hands-on with can-do-attitude and curiosity and boldness to try new approaches with strong organizational skills to coordinate necessary input from other teams;
- be proficient in English and comfortable to work in a dynamic international set-up.
