We have experienced steady growth over the years and employ over 230 people globally. Nearly half of our team is based in Poland (CKEditor). We are currently seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the development team of our globally used product, ButterCMS.

Location: Remote or hybrid/onsite (Warsaw or Poznań, Poland)

Your new role:

As a Senior Technical Product Manager in the ButterCMS team, you will be at the forefront of driving the development and enhancement of our key product - ButterCMS. Your role involves liaising between the technical team (six team members) and commercial units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with market demands and customer needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize product requirements and roadmaps based on customer needs and market research.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to guide products from conception to launch.
• Bridge the technical and business worlds, engaging with customers to gather insights and translate complex technical challenges into actionable plans.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and support teams to maximize product success.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle, including concept, specification, design, release, and post-release activities.

Job requirements

To be successful in this role you need the following:

• Proven experience (several years) as a software engineer, with at least two years in Python/Django and JavaScript.
• The ability to deep dive into the code base (Django-based project) to help sometimes prototype simpler features and understand the feasibility of certain ideas.
• Comfort with speaking and writing in English.
• Proven experience in managing IT product strategy and communication.
• Preferred: Experience with CMS/Headless CMS platforms.
• Great collaboration and teamwork abilities with a 'hands-on' approach.
• Familiarity with user experience best practices.
• Comfortable interacting with clients and understanding their needs.
• Excellent communication skills and a decision-making approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization including sales and customer success to gather customer insights.
• Eagerness to go deep into product knowledge and technical choices.
• Ready and able to work in an international environment (team across Poland, Europe, and the US).
• Flexible with various technical tasks to support the team (e.g., reviewing documentation, integrations with other ecosystems, cooperation with product marketing).
