EHS Manager

YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Secure compliance of plant activities with Polish law regarding all aspects of EHS
• Provide guidance and advice on EHS management at all levels of the organisation
• Participate in the development of corporate initiatives.
• Integrate and develop management system ISO 14000, ISO 45001, ISO 50001
• Create and develop sustainability culture
• Propose and execute agreed budget for EHS
• Create concept for working clothes and PPE in line with risk assessment
• Support improvement programs like 5S, risk reduction, visual management for EHS aspects
• Represent company towards external bodies and authorities for EHS topics
• Create cooperation with external experts and lead fire-fighting plans including necessary trainings and evacuation exercises

Special focus in the first period of work and plant preparation for start-up:

• Build and support process of job risk and aspects assessment
• Lead process of obtaining all necessary permits for operations
• Develop and publish procedures, standards and instructions for safety work and develop training system
• Organize waste management system and cooperation with subcontractors for EHS aspects if necessary
• Perform risk assessment for machines, working stations as part of CE standard
• Organize all necessary measures regarding working conditions, emissions and waste water parameters
• Create system for EHS documentation management

WE CAN EXPECT:

• Completed education as H&S specialist (master degree) - environmental studies will be an additional bonus
• Minimum 5 years of proofed professional experience as H&S specialist within industrial companies sector
• Autonomy for acting within EHS tasks and legal aspects
• Create and support proactive safety culture
• High technical awareness
• Ability to work within digitalized applications and readiness for future development of such applications
• Communicative, assertive and team-oriented personality
• Self-motivation and self-driver focused on people and company objectives
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office package
