Internal Logistic Manager

YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Being responsible for warehouse operations based on Kan Ban, supermarket strategies
• Being responsible for internal logistics including unloading, loading operations, train concept and deliveries to work stations
• Managing team of 35 persons including shift leaders
• Responsible for creation of shift schedules
• Planning of resources
• Managing forklift fleet
• Follow targets to corresponding KPI’s and plan improvement actions and projects
• Responsible for people development (skills, performance and other administrative issues)
• Work together with other departments in case of trouble shooting and efficiency improvement
• Position will report to Supply Chain Manager
• Responsible for continuous improvement of processes (CIP)
• Work in a highly digitalized environment

WE CAN EXPECT:

• Completed education in the area of logistics or equivalent to several years of experience on similar position
• Experience with warehouse management systems, preferably SAP EWM and ERP
• Communicative, assertive and team-oriented personality
• Very good knowledge of MS Office package
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (and ideally in German)
