Data Analyst (UNIQA Insurance Group)
Job description:
Design, build, and maintain data solutions on the Azure platform
Develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure
Implement data storage solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage
Develop and maintain data processing workflows using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
Ensure data quality through targeted corrections and plausibility checks
Build and maintain data visualization solutions using Power BI and other relevant tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions that meet business needs
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure optimal performance
Create technical documentation, including diagrams, code, and specifications
Contribute your expertise to a wide variety of projects and actively drive topics forward
Requirements:
Completed education in computer science, engineering, data analytics or related field
3-5 years of experience in data engineering and implementing data solutions, preferably on the Azure platform
Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing and data integration concepts
Experience with Azure services (Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake Storage, SQL Database or similar)
Programming skills in Python, SQL, Power BI and other relevant technologies
Analytical skills and experience with agile development
Basic insurance business knowledge is desirable
Independent, structured working style combined with team spirit and enthusiasm for knowledge sharing
Good English language skills
Knowledge of an Eastern European language is an advantage
