United Robots is a proprietary robotic designer and manufacturer which aims to revolutionize industrial space maintenance with its autonomous robots. We’ve reinvented, designed and built autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) conceived for vast storage area operators i.e., supermarkets, warehouses and sorting offices or public spaces such as hospitals, care homes, office buildings and airports. As we embark on our journey towards greater efficiency, quality, and timely delivery within our R&D team, we are looking for a Team Leader to guide this transformation. Your responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design and mechatronics team to ensure the successful development of autonomous mobile robots
• Oversee the entire mechatronic component of the robot from concept to production phases, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex mechanical and electronic challenges
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the design and mechatronics team
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in design and prototyping processes
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of software engineering and quality assurance to integrate mechanical and electronic components seamlessly
• Playing the role of a bridge between the R&D and Production Team to deliver high-quality products easy to manufacture.

Job requirements:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• Proven experience (4+ years) in a leadership role with a focus on design, mechatronics, or related fields
• Strong background in serial production and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in mechanical CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) principles
• Expertise in electromechanical systems, robotics, and automation technologies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Passion for innovation and driving positive change in the robotics industry
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead teams through ambiguity and uncertainty
• Good written and verbal communication skills both in Polish & English
• Legal ability to work in Poland.
