Valeo Wiper Systems Plant in Skawina specializes in the design, manufacturing, painting and assembly of wiper blades, arms and mechanisms. Additionally, in 2013 production of motors for wipers has began. Plant’s main activity is supported by a modern research and development center which is currently employing about 100 staff members.

Currently for our entity Valeo Wiper Systems in Skawina we recruit Electric Motor Architect.

Your Challenges:

• To support the platform in the choice of the motor giving the first orientation;
• To write the specifications for each part of the motor or actuator (EM, control, gear);
• To organize the support of ELT metier and to follow up;
• To write the DVP&R for the complete function;
• To participate under request to QRQC and PDCA;
• To define, with métier ELT team, mainly with Test-Prototype engineer, the DOE, to optimize the component/function;
• To participate to the tests, to analyze the results and to construct the matrix of choice supporting proposed solution;
• Investigate for each part of the motor the trend of the market and the impact in our products;
• To animate internal and external network around motor and components.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 years of experience in similar function;
• Experience in automotive sector is a plus;
• Education: Electrotechnic engineer, Mechanical engineer, physic measurement engineer;
• Management skills: Gestion of projects;
• Electrotechnic knowledge: Brushless Motor, DC motor;
• Mechanic knowledge: PLM;
• Physic knowledge: measurement, DOE, FEA simulation type flux 3D, JMAG, Maxwel, etc.;
• Automation knowledge: Motor Control, feedback control loops, Matlab simulink. Dspace.
