Valeo Lighting Systems The plant produces front and rear car lights using advanced technology of metallization, assembly and plastic injection including multicomponent and multi-color injections. It has also a fully equipped measurement laboratory with a unique photometric testing tunnel. As a result of growth, Valeo Lighting Systems is currently opening a new Development Center, which focuses on developing and manufacturing lighting systems for passenger cars.

Currently for Valeo Lighting Systems in Chrzanów we recruit a Test&Validation Design Leader


Your challenges:

  • Defines the product test strategy based on Customer and Valeo standards specifications and risk analysis (PCA, PHA, DFMEA, R&D Metiers Fix-Variable-Specific analysis)
  • Supports the project team for compatibility matrix & risk analysis, with contribution of the product family validation standard owner up from the project acquisition phase
  • Documents Design Validation plan including environmental validation test plan and functional validation test plan with the product architect, based on defined test strategy
  • Plans & quote at CAA all necessary actions to run the DV as: number of parts, jigs, subcomponents, headcount, test bench costs (characterization, reliability), potential external test costs
  • Secures that validation conditions & planning feasibility are within project commitments
  • Coordinates all product integrations and validation activities (regulations, functional, system, optics, mechanics, EE tests including EMC, craftsmanship, vehicle tests)
  • Reports issues at the first level of analysis and reports project validation risks assessment
  • Is responsible for RAISE Validation metier review management

  • An engineer’s or master’s degree in electronics/automatics/mechatronics or similar
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in similar positions
  • Fluent English

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability of creative thinking
