Operating in the context of Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, the carve-out management office (COMO) covers operational project management, as well as carve-out governance and methodology. To scale up, we’re recruiting a project office, including the head of the project office.

Carve-out projects are complex and challenging, include all functions of the company and run in a volatile, time-pressured M&A environment that is exposed to all hierarchy levels. These projects may present a great opportunity for anyone with a can-do attitude, who is curious and eager to grow.

What you can look forward to as Project Office Head (m/f/d):

• Support building up the carve-out office and onboarding of the office resources

• Lead the team of project office resources dedicated to support carve-out projects

• Use mentoring, coaching and teambuilding techniques to create a sense of belonging and high motivation in a pressure-driven environment with dispersed teams

• Ensure proper staffing and distribution of resources to carve-out projects while maintaining flexibility in peak periods or unexpected events

• Manage the performance and efficiency of the team and implement measures of constant team improvement and motivation etc.

• Manage turnover and back-up solutions in case of a shortfall of resources

• Ensure proper training measures and a high level of skillset within the team despite some turnover and a virtual setting

• Lead and coordinate onboarding of new resources and their constant development

• Ensure data are maintained properly by the team and levels of confidentiality are high

Your profile as Project Office Head (m/f/d):

• Master degree level or equivalent

• Proven track record in leading a project office

• Extensive experience in managing a team > 10 resources, also virtually/onsite/offsite

• Very high skillset in mentoring, coaching and teambuilding to be able to lead a team of dispersed people working on different projects

• Intercultural competency & solid experience (participation) in projects of complex international scale

• Good level of project management knowledge, methods and tools

• Full business English and Polish proficiency; German is a plus

• Adaptability, values teamplay, open exchange and flat team-hierarchies based on trust
