The role is a key member of the omni-channel technology team which, as a function, is responsible for the translation of business outcomes into technical specifications and recommendations for a wide range of Omni-Channel Digital tools and projects, together with communicating, onboarding and training users. Working under the Global Director of Omni-channel Technology and in close partnership with the broader omni-channel team, IT teams and business stakeholders, the jobholder is key to turning desired business outcomes into actionable technology solutions, then ensuring the smooth adoption of new digital tools, ideas and experiences to market. Works Globally across a matrix organization. 

Key areas of accountability: 

  • On a project basis, fully understand desired business outcomes to create detailed analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for Omni-channel delivery 
  • Identify and prioritize functional requirements aligned with key business objectives/strategic initiatives and budget availability 
  • Turn business objectives/outcomes into user stories / technical requirements 
  • Collaborate with IT on implementation of appropriate applications and technology solutions 
  • Collaborate with IT to maintain an effective technology roadmap incorporating new technologies as they are identified 
  • Evaluate omni-channel technology providers / enablers and map them to fully defined business requirements or evaluating for potential future requirements 
  • Attend appropriate scrum ceremonies to provide needed input on requirements, acceptance criteria and prioritization 
  • Act as subject matter expert for selected 3rd party software and tools 
 
Skills & Experience: 

  • Experience with website CMS systems and implementations including; Drupal 8 CMS / Acquia Site Factory / Site Studio 
  • Experience building front end web experiences with HTML/CSS/Sass/JS frameworks 
  • Experience with CRM systems such as SalesForce, App development & Asset management tools 
  • Fluent English
  • Strong communicator verbally, visually and with presentation of content 
  • Deep understanding of end to end digital customer journeys 
  • Proven project management skills, ability to manage and work within strict timelines in a fast paced changing environment 
  • Experience of continuous deployment / working in Agile working methodologies 
  • Degree / Masters educated Digital / Technical / IT 
  • Experienced in working in matrix / global organizations
