Opis stanowiska

This role is to work for a new Mars Petcare Hub.
 
The ideal candidate will be required to originate creative ideas/concepts for various projects and craft the copy that clearly communicates these ideas to the end user. 

The work will be a mix of short and long copy depending on the media, for example social will require tightly crafted headlines and small amounts of caption copy, whereas longer form communications such as brand-sites and retailer pages will need significantly more detail.
 
They will have been working in a similar position at a creative advertising/direct marketing agency or in-house, be hands on, and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team in a client environment. 
 
They should be able to effectively manage their own time juggling multiple projects at any one time. 
 
Strong communication skills are obviously essential, and they should use their very clear communication and problem solving skills to navigate the agency and client environments we work in. 
 

The role will be responsible for:

  • Working across the whole spectrum of digital communications including social, web, e-commerce, email and digital advertising projects 
  • Inspecting and complying with brand tone of voice guidelines
  • Applying precise attention to detail and determination to bring craft and quality to the creative work
  • Bringing a strong working knowledge of how copy must evolve and adapt to suit different media
  • Creating and maintaining a consistent and adaptable brand tone of voice
  • Translating specialist expertise into language appropriate for a customer audience
  • Coming up with creative concepts and writing copy that brings it to life
  • Putting the customer at the heart of the creative

To be ace at this role the ideal candidate will have to:

  • Familiarise themselves with Mars Petcare brands, best practice for the platforms, the target audience and their competitors' activities
  • Liaise with clients and interpret their briefs
  • Write clear, persuasive, original copy through the various iterations of the project
  • Proofread copy to check spelling and grammar
  • Amend, revise or redevelop copy in response to feedback from clients and wider partners
  • Work on multiple projects at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines
  • Keep up to date with popular culture and trends
