Technical Project Manager / Delivery Lead (Web Development)

Acclaim is a cozy crew of about 15 folks who are all about crafting super optimized, conversion-focused websites using Webflow, WordPress, Framer, AI-development and custom web development. We're a bunch of passionate people getting it done!

Since the beginning 2014 we work in a no-office model. Each member of our team works 100% remotely from a convenient place in Poland. The most common recipients of our services are Startups, Software Houses, Agencies and other customers from all over the world. Most of our customers are based in the US, UK, Canada, Australia. We’re looking for someone who can help us deliver projects even better—both from an organizational and technical side.

This is not a typical PM role focused only on client communication. We’re looking for someone who will actively take care of delivery, budgets, estimations, and project risks.

AS A TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER/DELIVERY LEAD YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

As a Technical Project Manager / Delivery Lead, you’ll be responsible for running long-term projects and making sure they’re delivered on time, within budget, and without unpleasant surprises along the way.

You’ll work closely with developers and QA, taking care of delivery quality and keeping the project workflow well organized.

✅ Managing projects (WordPress, Webflow, Framer, AI development, and custom development) and human resources to deliver functional and great-looking websites on time and budget
✅ Cooperating with a team of incredibly talented developers, designers, and QA testers 
✅ Communication between key clients and the entire in-house team during the projects and during new project set-up
✅ Double-checking the tasks and projects (after the QA process)
✅ Planning project phases, milestones, and scope to keep everything clear and on track
✅ Reviewing and validating developers’ estimations
✅ Keeping control over budgets and preventing scope creep
✅ Identifying project risks early—before they turn into real problems
✅ Taking care of delivery quality and preparing projects for deployment
✅ Reporting on project status and progress
✅ Improving our processes and creating new ones – we love feedback and proactivity

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITY – overseeing delivery across the company

Supporting operational processes to make sure work gets delivered smoothly, beyond just running long-term projects. It means:

✅ Monitoring overall team workload (capacity planning)
✅ Spotting projects and tasks that might fall behind schedule
✅ Detecting project risks early
✅ Collaborating with PMs handling support projects to keep the team workflow steady
✅ Ensuring consistency in delivery processes and project standards

OUR EXPECTATIONS:

We’re looking for someone who:

✅ Has experience managing web development projects
✅ Understands technical aspects of projects (hosting, deployment, integrations, performance, etc.)
✅ Can communicate with developers as a true partner
✅ Can handle multiple projects at the same time without creating chaos
✅ Self-reliance and an ability to organize and prioritize your work with efficiency in mind and an ability to support others in such areas
✅ Can anticipate risks and act before things go wrong
✅ Native Polish speaker
✅ Great communication skills including good command of English – at least C1
✅ Ability to manage team’s and client’s expectations while dealing with timelines and deadlines
✅ Ability to manage resources and stay agile while doing so
✅ Availability after 4PM for the communication with the clients from different timing zones
✅ Availability to schedule a call with a client in a different time zone (think two-three times a week, morning hours in NY or SF)

NICE TO HAVE:

👉🏻 Previous experience as a developer or QA
👉🏻 Experience with WordPress / PHP / frontend / API integrations
👉🏻 Background working in an agency or software house
👉🏻 Familiarity with tools like ClickUp, Jira, or Asana
