AP Accountant with Hungarian
As an AP Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting Source-to-Pay (STP) processes for the Hungarian site. This includes processing vendor invoices, handling payments, resolving queries, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. You will also contribute to the transition and setup of new processes, working closely with teams both in Poland and abroad.
Here are some of the things you can look forward to:
Perform end-to-end AP activities (invoice processing, payments, reconciliations)
Be the first point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders
Ensure timely and accurate execution of payments and postings
Audit employee expenses and maintain corporate card processes
Participate in month-end closing activities and reconciliations
Maintain process documentation and support continuous improvement
Collaborate with the Global Business Services team and ensure smooth process integration
Travel to Hungary for knowledge transfer during the initial transition period (2 weeks)
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable / PTP / STP
Proficiency in Hungarian (min. B2) and English (min. B2) – both written and spoken
Strong working knowledge of SAP – a must-have
Prior involvement in transition projects – a strong advantage
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Willingness to travel to Hungary for a short business trip
