Business Analyst

Business Analysis and Project Management Skillset

·         Strong Project Management Skills

·         Understanding of project delivery methodologies.

·         Knowledge in documenting business and functional requirements

·         Ability to understand data flows and document lineage.

·         Ability to translate business requirements to user stories and effectively communicate the requirements to IT.

·         Strong stakeholder management skills to drive actions and organisation skills to deliver tasks and deliverables timely

IT Skillset

·         Proficiency and/or strong desire to learn, adopt and train people on new technologies (Cloud, Python, BigQuery, SQL, Qlik / visualisation tools)

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams)

·         Knowledge and experience of Agile Delivery Methodology

Finance Skillset (Desirable)

·         Finance/ Treasury/ Risk project background, with knowledge of Capital requirements.

·         Understanding of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Capital Instruments.

·         Understanding of Leverage ratios, Double Leverage and Holdings Capital Buffer

 

General Skillset & Experience

Mandatory

·         Up to 10-12 years of project management and business analysis experience, preferably in the financial services industry

·         Proven track record of successful project delivery

·         Experience in building business, functional requirements and data lineage documents.

·         Proficiency in data analysis and systems impact analysis

·         Strong desire and proven ability to comprehend complexities, opportunities and solutions offered by systems and various digital tools

 

Desirable

·         Knowledge and experience of BTF methodology

·         Knowledge of IT processes

·         Excellent presentation skills for a wide range of audience

 

Other Skills

·         Problem Solving skills.

·         Ability to work with teams with minimal supervision.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Proactiveness and ability to build strong and diverse business relationships.

·         Organised and efficient multi-tasker with a strong work ethic.
