Location: Kraków

Office attendance: 2 days per week

Type of contract: employment contract for 12 months with the possibility of extension

Category Manager


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including negotiations and contract finalization.
  • Support sub-category planning to achieve cost savings and value generation.
  • Build and manage relationships with global stakeholders across the business.
  • Monitor supplier market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to influence category planning and demand management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement processes and buying channels.
  • Maintain a project pipeline aligned with category savings targets.
  • Identify and evaluate alternatives to current specifications or demand.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in IT sourcing and Market Data procurement.
  • Strong background in leading complex negotiations from scoping to contract signing.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of the financial services sector and its strategic challenges.
