Our client is a global financial corporation that provides top-class customer service and continuously improves financial operations. We are looking for a Finance Systems Analyst who will support and develop finance systems, working closely with both Finance and IT teams.
Finance Systems Analyst
For our Client, we are looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to support key finance and treasury systems used for reconciliations, payments, and financial controls.This role combines system support, data analysis, and close cooperation with Finance, IT, and Operations teams. It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in finance systems and work with real, business-critical platforms.user support, manage projects, and help implement system improvements.
Here are some of the things you can look forward to:
Monitor finance systems and daily data loads to ensure everything runs smoothly
Investigate system issues and data discrepancies and support incident resolution
Act as the main contact for Operations teams regarding system-related questions
Use SQL queries to validate data, investigate issues, and support reporting
Work closely with Finance Systems, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure data quality
Support business-as-usual activities and selected system changes from start to finish
Coordinate and support system testing, including User Acceptance Testing
Document processes and procedures and prepare simple training materials
Provide ongoing support and basic training for finance system users
Cooperate with system vendors and support improvements and upgrades
What we’re looking for:
1+ years of experience in system support, IT helpdesk, finance operations, or a similar role
Basic to intermediate SQL skills (reading and writing simple queries)
Experience working with ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow, JIRA)
Excellent communication skills in English
Good knowledge of Excel
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure
Willingness to support critical issues outside standard working hours when required
Experience in finance, banking, trading, or reconciliation processes is a strong plus
