Senior AR Accountant with English
Our Client is looking for a highly motivated Senior AR Accountant to shape and optimize AR accounting process within our organization and Global Business Services GBS structure. The role focuses on leveraging the latest technological solutions, including the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and new payment method integrations, to enhance process efficiency and accuracy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review and enhance existing financial processes, implementing best practices.
- Collaborate closely with the Team Lead to build a comprehensive knowledge base and improve process quality.
- Shape and refine the AR accounting processes within GBS, leveraging the latest technical advancements (e.g., S4 Hana implementation, new payment method integrations).
- Establish SOX-compliant controls for new process streams.
- Act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in projects, providing accounting-focused insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including teams in North America and Canada.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within AR accounting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable Accounting in the retail or e-commerce sector.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end AR process, particularly in the context of e-commerce and retail
- Knowledge of payment method integrations and reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of SAP; participation in systems/application implementations is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or participate in cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
- Fluent English.
