Our Client, a dynamic and fast-growing global leader with headquarters in USA, is currently seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their Corporate Finance team. This is a key role for a finance professional with strong knowledge of SaaS revenue recognition and ASC 606, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the full revenue recognition lifecycle, supporting accurate financial reporting, and partnering with teams across the business to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Senior Revenue Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end revenue recognition process in compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards.
• Analyze contracts to identify performance obligations and allocate transaction prices accordingly.
• Handle contract modifications and assess their impact on revenue recognition.
• Review MSAs (Master Service Agreements) and SOWs (Statements of Work) for revenue and billing-related implications.
• Ensure the accuracy of revenue arrangements using NetSuite ARM (Advanced Revenue Management).
• Track client renewals and monitor changes in existing contracts.
• Perform monthly close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and update deferred revenue schedules (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Collaborate with the Professional Services team to ensure project tool data is complete and accurate by day 3 of revenue close.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, People, Marketing, etc.) to improve financial efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in SaaS or high-tech companies, preferably in a high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition practices.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
• Predictive modeling skills and familiarity with AI/Machine Learning are advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with senior leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
• Adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
