Statutory & Financial Reporting Specialist
About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Statutory & Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Client international finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of statutory trial balances and financial statements for a range of international entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP. You will also play a key role in coordinating external audits, improving reporting processes, and supporting cross-functional financial operations.
Here are some of the things you can look forward to:
Prepare statutory trial balances and ensure alignment with IFRS and applicable local GAAP for multiple international entities.
Perform GAAP-to-local adjustments and ensure accurate financial data consolidation.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support smooth and timely audit execution.
Participate in the creation and review of financial reports and regulatory surveys for various jurisdictions.
Act as a business partner across departments such as Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Finance on cross-functional initiatives.
Maintain clear and compliant documentation for audit trails and internal controls.
Ensure alignment with SOX requirements and contribute to the harmonization of accounting practices.
Conduct ad hoc financial investigations and data analyses as required by management.
Identify opportunities for process automation and contribute to continuous improvement in reporting workflows.
We're Looking for Someone Who Has:
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a multinational or corporate finance environment.
Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite or Oracle is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Fluent English (minimum B2+ level, both written and spoken).
