Statutory & Financial Reporting Specialist

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Statutory & Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Client international finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation of statutory trial balances and financial statements for a range of international entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP. You will also play a key role in coordinating external audits, improving reporting processes, and supporting cross-functional financial operations.

Here are some of the things you can look forward to:

• Prepare statutory trial balances and ensure alignment with IFRS and applicable local GAAP for multiple international entities.

• Perform GAAP-to-local adjustments and ensure accurate financial data consolidation.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support smooth and timely audit execution.

• Participate in the creation and review of financial reports and regulatory surveys for various jurisdictions.

• Act as a business partner across departments such as Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Finance on cross-functional initiatives.

• Maintain clear and compliant documentation for audit trails and internal controls.

• Ensure alignment with SOX requirements and contribute to the harmonization of accounting practices.

• Conduct ad hoc financial investigations and data analyses as required by management.

• Identify opportunities for process automation and contribute to continuous improvement in reporting workflows.

We're Looking for Someone Who Has:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in a multinational or corporate finance environment.

• Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements.

• Proficiency in Excel; experience with NetSuite or Oracle is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Fluent English (minimum B2+ level, both written and spoken).
