VAT Specialist – International Manufacturing & Trading Company
We are currently looking for a VAT Specialist to join a dynamic international organization operating in the manufacturing and trading sector. This role involves monitoring VAT compliance across multiple European countries, providing advisory support to the business, and ensuring that new VAT structures are correctly implemented in the company's ERP system.
- Provide VAT advisory to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Analyze and optimize VAT processes related to purchases, sales, and cross-border transactions.
- Support VAT implementation in the ERP system, maintaining accurate configurations and ensuring compliance.
- Monitor changes in VAT regulations across different countries and assist local accounting teams in adapting to new obligations.
- Collaborate with various departments on VAT-related matters, ensuring a harmonized approach across different entities.
- Contribute to broader tax-related projects, including corporate tax and transfer pricing, acting as a backup for other tax processes.
- Master’s degree in Economics, Taxation, Law, or a related field.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in VAT compliance and advisory, preferably in an international environment.
- Strong knowledge of EU VAT regulations.
- Experience with SAP and VAT-related ERP processes (training will be provided if necessary).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently within deadlines, and maintain a hands-on approach.
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership in work responsibilities.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
