Your responsibilities


  • Build out the financial reporting capabilities to support rapid growth including into different sales channels (direct, partnership, marketplace)
  • Help prepare the company for public company accounting and reporting standards (PCAOB audits, SEC reporting and SOx compliance).
  • Lead the development, implementation, and execution of company-wide accounting policies and controls
  • Drive internal process improvements; help to measure and assess key performance metrics and work to identify and implement opportunities to standardize, simplify and automate accounting-related tasks at scale
  • Work cross-functionally with international teams to improve accounting processes and reporting to ensure efficient and accurate flow of information between teams
  • Support the financial reporting and financial operations integration of domestic and international acquisitions
  • Execute the consolidated period-end close activities under the guidance of the Assistant Controller including preparation and submission of journal entries, analytical analysis over key accounts (cash, AR, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, revenues, OPEX), balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting schedules for internal and external stakeholders
  • Execute monthly SaaS revenue recognition within NetSuite in accordance with ASC606 including monthly revenue, deferred revenue, and deferred cost reconciliation and analysis
  • Assist the Director of Audit and Reporting Compliance in auditor engagement tasks
  • Develop and maintain a well-documented system of accounting policies and procedures to support SOx compliance
  • Provide research and support on the implementation of accounting policies and the accounting for complex transactions


Our requirements


  • 2-3+ years of responsibility and execution within a global finance or accounting function, ideally with Technology related experience (SAAS software a plus), including demonstrated success as an accountant, financial professional or auditor
  • B.S. in Accounting
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience (both technical and operational) with a recurring revenue business model, including understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and metrics-driven leveraging data to support business decisions
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to summarize and present information concisely, both written and verbally
  • Desire to receive feedback and implement changes in a highly iterative manner
  • Impeccable integrity and empathy; words and actions must continually reinforce this characteristic
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment
  • Ability to persevere and demonstrate resilience to obstacles and persist tirelessly towards set goals
  • Ideally, but not required, public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 or large National Firm or experience being audited by a comparable National accounting firm
  • Ideally, but not required, ACCA Qualification or CPA license
