Black steel processing Area Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Leading a production team in black steel processing;
• Planning the work of the subordinate team – organizing production processes and operating machines and devices according to the established schedule;
• Ensuring process continuity on the line;
• Supervision over the timeliness of the production plan;
• Efficiency control and quality supervision during production;
• Supervision over employees’ working time, absenteeism control, planning and implementation of holidays;
• Development and assessment of employee competences – conducting Skill Matrix;
• Searching for and implementing new solutions that optimize the efficiency of production processes and related costs;
• Maintaining production documentation in accordance with adopted standards;
• Reporting and analysis of production efficiency to the Production Manager;
• Effective cooperation with other departments of the company in the implementation of the production process and production plan;
• Responsibility for compliance with applicable internal regulations, 5S standards and HSE.

Requirements

• Higher technical education is welcome;
• Knowledge of welding processing processes;
• Knowledge of English at a communicative level;
• Professional experience in a similar position;
• Ability to manage subordinate staff (Production Foremen);
• Knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel);
• Knowledge of KPIs/operational indicators in the production area;
• Practical knowledge of modern production management techniques (Lean management, 5S);
• Leadership skills and ability to delegate tasks;
• Good organization of own work and subordinate team;
• Ability to think analytically, solve problems and manage risk;
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
• High level of resistance to stress and ability to work under time pressure;
• Ability to make decisions quickly and act decisively in a dynamic environment;
• Business approach focused on eliminating losses;
