    About the Opportunity


    We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing company in the

    Big Science and R&D sectors. Our client delivers advanced control and monitoring systems

    to world-leading research institutions, including CERN, MAX IV, ESS & FAIR.


    In this role, you're not just selling a product—you’re opening doors to groundbreaking

    collaborations. You'll work with top engineers and developers, creating tailored solutions

    that drive innovation and push technological boundaries.


    What You’ll Do

    As the Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and capitalizing

    on new business opportunities. You’ll independently search for potential clients and build

    strong, lasting relationships. Your role will involve:

    • Understanding clients' needs and offering them solutions that solve their challenges.
    • Proactively identifying opportunities by attending industry events and networking with key players in Big Science and R&D.
    • Creating and executing client acquisition strategies to expand the company’s reach in international markets.
    • Overseeing the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and proposals to contract negotiation and project management.
    • Collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.


    What You Bring

    • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in technology, industrial automation, or engineering sectors.
    • Experience in outsourcing or providing specialized expertise in IT/engineering projects.
    • Strong ability to listen and consult, understanding the bigger picture and translating it into a sales strategy.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of building a professional network independently.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging with high level decision-makers.
    • Fluent in both English and Polish; knowledge of Scandinavian markets or additional languages is a plus.
    • Familiarity with control systems, PLCs, or SCADA would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
