Description

Business Analyst is a member of the Investment Reporting and Performance IT Team, which oversees delivering process and system changes required by the business. The team is based in Warsaw, but it is cooperating with other locations (mainly Chennai and Paris) and is providing its services on a global level. Daily the team is cooperating with global IT teams responsible for delivering changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce estimates, cost & benefits analysis and business cases for new development proposals

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of new features and improvements

  • Manage change requests

  • Work with analysts to make improvements to current production processes

  • Cooperate with various teams to analyze root cause of issues and assist in efficient resolution of all production processes

  • Administer all project documentation in an efficient and effective manner

  • Create and manage testing of new solutions including writing test plans, preparing test data, coordinating testing and user/client acceptance

  • Work on technical analysis and new solution design

  • Work on successful onboarding of new clients


Requirements:

  • At least 3-year experience as an IT Business Analyst;

  • Knowledge of the financial industry – with focus on Securities sector (fund industry)

  • Knowledge of SQL scripts;

  • Passion for technology and a desire to explore and understand the technical intricacies of applications;

  • Interest and willingness to contribute to the development process;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;

  • Experience in working in Scrum or other Agile methodologies;

  • University in degree in Finance, Economics, Project Management, IT or similar area;

  • Strong autonomy and ability to plan own tasks and organize own working environment;

  • Diligence and accuracy, also while working under time pressure;

  • Nice-to-have:

    • Knowledge of ALM HP Quality Centre, Octane application or similar

    • Basic knowledge of other technical languages (Java, C#, C, Shell, Python)

    • Fluency in French
