The International Content Strategist position will primarily involve research and writing of web page copy and content to increase organic search engine rankings for our Bold UK, FR, and ES properties. As a Content Lead for the INTL SEO Team, you will assist the SEO Content Manager in developing an ongoing organic inbound traffic strategy that includes prioritization of content development, keyword analysis to identify additional organic traffic opportunities, and guidance for INTL writers. As a key individual contributor to the team, you will assist in competitive analysis, writing, editing, and optimizing keyword-rich SEO copy that matches the tone, voice, and culture for our Bold INTL properties. This team member will have the opportunity to transform big data and analytical insights into compelling content­­ around the future of the workplace. You will be an integral part of the INTL Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Team for Bold.

How do we work?

• Our point of reference is organic traffic to our INTL portals and individual OKRTs (Objectives, Key Results, Tasks).
• We have regular meetings with the team leader where we talk about progress, plans, and development opportunities.

You will learn how to:

• Lead INTL writers on optimization strategies.
• Write and refresh key INTL pages based on optimization strategies.
• Create metas for new & existing INTL pages.
• Build new INTL CVs & Cover Letters.
• Support the INTL page production and publishing process.
• Assist with new vendor testing & onboarding.
• Work with marketing team members from all over the world.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating the activities of our INTL writing team to ensure prioritization of key content for each of the Bold properties as directed by your SEO Content Manager.
• Working with your SEO Content Manager on prioritization of daily and weekly writing assignments while collaborating with the INTL team of writers to ensure deadlines are met.
• Working with the INTL writing team to develop high quality, unique, and engaging content for head term, category, job title, and specialty pages to improve search engine rankings.
• Meeting regularly with the team of INTL writers to provide content strategy, deadlines, goals, and industry updates.
• Performing routine SEO and content marketing analysis of key pages to provide recommendations for improved search engine rankings and optimization opportunities.
• Conducting regular Internet research for the UK, ES, and FR markets on various topics related to writing assignments and optimization efforts.
• Editing and managing vendor writing of key pages for grammar, spelling, syntax, factual accuracy, SEO best practice, and readability.
• Writing keyword-rich, SEO copy for our Bold INTL properties using appropriate keywords, clarity, style, and tone to increase organic inbound traffic as well as conversions.
• Working with internal SEO resources to enhance knowledge of search industry trends and tools to continuously improve content quality.
• Building credibility and managing communications with key internal and external stakeholders including product, design, and engineering teams.
• Updating the INTL tone of voice and quality guidelines for SEO pages, with support from your SEO Content Manager.
• Assist in the INTL page production process with the support of the SEO Content Manager.
• Perform related work and additional duties as needed or required.

You’ll be a perfect fit if you have:

• Proficiency in written UK, FR, and ES copy with copy-editing skills (where one of these languages must be a native language).
• Minimum of 2+ years UK, FR, and ES professional writing experience.
• Degree in English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Knowledge of online writing best practices.
• Ability to meet and manage multiple deadlines.

Nice to haves:

• Preferred UK, FR, and ES market specific experience.
• Proficiency in WordPress and Content Management Software.
• Experience working with Content AI tools and NLP Optimization.
• Demonstrated management capabilities.
• Experience in optimized copywriting and editing.
• Career services and hiring industry experience.
• Familiarity with the tools of online marketing and the metrics used to evaluate digital content success.
