As a fast-growing startup, we need a versatile, hands-on VP of Marketing to take ownership of all things marketing—from strategy to execution—helping us build awareness, attract clients, and drive engagement.
This role requires a “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach to craft and implement strategies across all channels, build our brand, and create meaningful, data-driven campaigns that resonate with our audience. You’ll manage everything from digital marketing, content creation, social media, PR, to analytics, and be the driving force behind Calimala’s growth in the B2B recruitment space.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a hands-on marketing role, ideally in a startup, B2B SaaS, or HR tech environment.
- Experience in all aspects of marketing, from content creation, digital campaigns, SEO, social media management, to brand building.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content tailored to target audiences.
- Self-starter attitude with a “doer” mindset, comfortable managing all aspects of marketing in a fast-paced startup.
- Proven success with data-driven marketing strategies and an understanding of key analytics and automation tools.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a creative, strategic, and execution-focused approach.

Duties:
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Design and launch Calimala’s end-to-end marketing strategy, balancing brand-building initiatives with targeted lead-generation efforts.
- Content Creation and Management: Write and produce engaging content (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, social media posts) to build thought leadership and educate potential clients on Calimala’s unique approach.
- Digital Marketing and Lead Generation: Run paid and organic digital marketing campaigns, including social media, SEO, PPC, and email marketing, with a focus on driving high-quality leads.
- Social Media Management: Manage Calimala’s social media presence across key platforms, building a following, engaging audiences, and leveraging social channels to amplify brand awareness.
- Brand Building and Positioning: Position Calimala as an industry leader in ethical AI recruitment, consistently communicating our mission, AI Pact involvement, and unique value proposition.
- Public Relations and Outreach: Cultivate media relationships, draft press releases, and identify PR opportunities to expand Calimala’s visibility and reputation.
- Data and Analytics: Track campaign performance, analyze results, and adjust strategies based on data insights to continuously improve our marketing ROI.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the sales, product, and customer success teams to align on messaging, share client insights, and refine our go-to-market approach.
