We're seeking an experienced Web Designer with strong UI/UX skills to take our website to the next level.

We are a 15-person tech startup based in Krakow 🇵🇱, focused on developing  B2B SaaS solutions for digital credential management (certificates and badges). Led by experienced founders and backed by leading EU venture funds. In just two years, our team has launched our core product and gained over 2000 organizations as paying customers. Now we're poised for growth and ready to expand our team 🌟.

What will you do? 🤔

As our Web Designer at Certifier, you'll be responsible for shaping the visual identity of our website, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience. Your role will be crucial in maintaining and enhancing the UI/UX of our website, directly impacting how potential customers interact with our brand.

You’ll take charge of creating user-centric designs that reflect our brand. From conceptualizing initial ideas to implementing final designs, you’ll work closely with our Marketing Lead, and front-end developers to deliver high-quality visuals.

Your work will be challenging and simple at once - here’s how your work will look like:

90% of your work time will be focused on Web Design: creating landing pages, improving existing sections, rebuilding published pages, adding new elements/blocks, optimizing for conversion etc.

10% of your work time will be focused on Graphic Design: specifically creating smaller ad hoc designs like blog post covers, graphics for AD creatives, certificate and badge templates and YouTube thumbnails.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting visually appealing website pages and reusable elements.
• Use Figma to create wireframes, mockups, and layouts.
• Develop and implement color schemes, typography, and imagery that enhance the visual appeal of the website.
• Design and create graphics, icons, and other visual elements as needed.
• Ensure best UI/UX practices across all pages and components of the website.
• Ensure that websites are fully responsive and accessible across various devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
• Use flexible grid layouts, media queries, and other techniques to create adaptive designs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure design implementation.
• Continuously update knowledge of web design trends, tools, and technologies.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

We’re looking for a designer with creative flair and technical expertise, as well as a solid grasp of usability, accessibility, and web design principles. If you’re adaptable, proactive, and a team player, you'll thrive in our fast-moving startup environment.

• At least 4 years of experience in designing websites, landing pages, and other designs for B2B SaaS, and other types of tech companies or e-commerce.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices  
• Proficiency in Figma (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is a plus).
• A strong sense of aesthetics and user-centered design principles.
• Strong grasp of web design principles, usability, and accessibility standards to create intuitive, inclusive, high-performing designs.
• Communicative English
• Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

💵 Attractive salary of 8,000 - 12,000 PLN net on a B2B contract (or equivalent for UZ/UoD contract) depending on your experience.

2. Screening - 45-minute meeting with our HR, where we will focus on getting to know you, your motivation, and your experience.
3. Task - depending on the complexity of your portfolio we might ask you to solve a test task.
4. Meeting with our Marketing Lead - about 60 - 90 minutes.
