We are currently looking for people to join our team in the position of:
Financial and Reporting Specialist
The primary function of the Financial and Reporting Specialist is to transform high level business requirements into reporting solutions and insights that meet the needs of internal business clients.
This position will also include a data mining component which will involve identifying and analyzing trends in the data and building automated and/or ad hoc reports for internal business users.
Critical to succeed in the position is determination to understand current data structure in BI solution implemented and make maximum use of the information provided in it.
Experience with business analytics could be useful as the result of the data mining activities and should result in actionable and developed recommendations to the Management team.
Key responsibilities:
- Incorporating data from multiple sources including sales, inventory, product, and customer to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making
- Preparing financial & statistical reports based on information gathered from multiple data sources
- Business partnering with strong focus on data quality and accuracy
- Working with several large databases
- Designing and building reports
- Maintaining and updating business intelligence dashboards
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in one of the following areas: Finance, MIS, Computer Science, Statistics
- Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
- Experience with Qualitative/Quantitative analytics
- Experience working with Data Warehouses, ERP Systems, reporting systems
- Highly analytical technician who enjoys data analysis
- Very high level of work ethic and attention to detail
- Experience in data visualization and analysis using tools such as Power BI / Tableau
- Ability to learn quickly data structures and specifics of the Oracle BI tool
