Senior Business Analyst

What would you do as a Senior Business Analyst?

• Participate in business change requests, system developments projects within the Investor Services Portfolio Management & Change Governance team

• Perform process analysis and design solutions in response to client or operational needs

• Analyse data and create meaningful management metrics and data insights

• Deliver business requirements, prepare testing plans and execute/oversee testing

• Co-operate closely with business stakeholders in hand with our Product, Technology partners and our clients,  whilst ensuring the right infrastructure to align our vision and strategic goals

• Take proactive actions targeted at minimizing and mitigating implementation & projects risk

• Challenge the status quo, display initiative and innovation in coming up with solutions

• Perform root cause analysis of common operational problems

 

What do you need to become our Senior Business Analyst?

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, experience of delivering change within the Fund Services or Custody industry an advantage

• Translate business needs into technical diagrams, flows and well captured functional requirements

• Use business knowledge to propose and partner with delivery of appropriate management metrics, views and analytics

• Hands on experience of reporting & dashboard creation and configuration using Business Intelligence tools (such as PowerBI, Tableau, QlikSense)

• Data analysis and data literacy skills with ability to work with large datasets/databases. SQL and/or Python scripting are an advantage

• Strong command of portfolio management and software development tracking tools, in particular Jira

• Experience in Agile and Waterfall project execution methodologies

• Ability to work with- and create high grade project documentation

• Very good command of English coupled with excellent communication and stakeholders management skills
