Senior Control Systems Engineer (PLC/SCADA)
Join a high-stakes Oil & Gas project focused on the development and maintenance of advanced control systems, including specialized subsea applications. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of PLC and SCADA software—from designing Functional Design Specifications (FDS) to participating in Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT). This role requires a combination of deep technical coding skills and a rigorous approach to engineering documentation in a global, distributed environment.

Responsibilities
Software Engineering: Developing PLC and SCADA/HMI applications from scratch and enhancing existing systems.
Subsea Systems: Contributing to the development of specialized subsea control modules.
Technical Documentation: Authoring critical documents, including FDS, Software Requirements, and comprehensive test plans.
Communication Protocols: Implementing and troubleshooting Modbus TCP, OPC UA, CAN, and Ethernet interfaces.
Validation: Analyzing system requirements and participating in FAT/SAT procedures.
Global Collaboration: Daily cooperation with international engineering hubs to ensure system alignment.
Requirements
PLC/SCADA: Mastery of systems such as Siemens, Beckhoff, Ignition, or WinCC.
Experience: A minimum of a decade in industrial automation with a track record of successful deployments.
Documentation: Expert level in creating technical specifications and requirements.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to operate independently within large-scale projects.
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with Beckhoff / TwinCAT.
Direct experience in the Oil & Gas or Subsea sector.
Proven history in multi-country, multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
