Opis stanowiska

Hello!

We’re looking for a B2B Content Lead to own Commerce-UI’s content end-to-end - from what we publish, where it shows up, and how it performs.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll be responsible not just for planning and distribution, but for producing high-quality content yourself - shaping stories, perspectives, and narratives around our work.

You won’t be expected to have deep domain expertise in engineering or design — but you should be naturally curious and comfortable engaging with both. You’ll ask the right questions, understand the thinking behind the work, and translate technical and design input into clear, thoughtful content.

You’ll work closely with the founders, designers, and engineers to tell the stories of the work we’ve done — including projects for some of the most exciting brands such as Lady Gaga, Magda Butrym, and Carhartt WIP.

See our full description here.

About Commerce-UI

Over the last 7 years, we've been a technology partner for top league brands (like Lady Gaga, Carhartt WIP, Pangaia, Magda Butrym or Rolex) We strive for the best possible quality by combining an eye for design and user experience with the most up-to-date technologies.

Our goal is simple: to be one of the best eCommerce tech teams in the world.

Our challenge

Commerce-UI is growing fast. We continue to win top-tier, design-driven clients, with most new work coming through referrals, reputation, and case studies — not cold outbound.

Until now, content and marketing have been led directly by the founders. While this has worked well, our efforts have largely been reactive, without a clear long-term plan or a single owner responsible for what content we produce, where we publish, where it shows up, and how it performs.

We’re now looking for a content-focused hire to take ownership of our content engine while working closely with us Founders to gradually build a sustainable internal content function, with content playing a central role in our broader marketing efforts.

This is not a generalist marketing role. It’s a content-first role with distribution and performance responsibility.

What it’s really like to work here

At Commerce-UI, we trust each other’s judgment and take pride in our craft. Everyone here owns their work - not because someone expects it, but because we care about what we build and the people we build it with.

We believe in high standards and flexibility, and we back that with real autonomy from day one. You’ll quickly see how we operate: fast, focused, and with a lot of trust that everyone knows what they’re doing.

We don’t rely on layers of management or rigid playbooks. Instead, we collaborate closely, share context openly, and help each other grow. Things move quickly, but that’s part of the fun - it’s how we learn, adapt, and ship meaningful products for iconic brands.

If you value ownership, clarity, and a team that believes in mutual trust and high craftsmanship, you’ll feel right at home with us.

Why you’ll love working here

  • Small, senior, passionate team - no bureaucracy, real impact

  • Work on ambitious, design-led projects for global brands

  • Freedom to shape how we build things

  • Competitive pay and flexible, remote-friendly culture

What you’ll do

  • Own Commerce-UI’s content calendar end-to-end — producing, planning, prioritizing, shipping, and iterating. This is a content and editorial role (not design or video), working closely with our design and development team to execute.

  • Create high-quality, thoughtful content for our blog, website, and social channels, from idea to publication.

  • Decide what’s worth publishing, where it should live, and why — with a clear point of view on distribution.

  • Turn research, internal knowledge, and technical input into clear, accurate, well-structured content.

  • Work closely with designers, engineers, and the founders to communicate our thinking with clarity and depth.

  • Maintain a high editorial bar across case studies, long-form content, and thought leadership.

  • Track content performance and optimize based on SEO and real usage data (Ahrefs, GA4, Search Console).

You won’t be working in isolation. You’ll collaborate closely with our in-house designers and developers, who will support execution and help bring content to life.

Who you are

  • You’re comfortable owning content decisions — you don’t need heavy process or constant validation.

  • You need to be genuily curious and be able to research some topics around eCommerce/ Shopify.

  • You care deeply about clarity, substance, and craft, and avoid buzzwords or generic marketing language. No fluff. Quality > quantity.

  • You’re hands-on by default: writing, editing, structuring, publishing, and improving.

  • You enjoy working with technical and design-led teams and translating complex ideas into strong content.

  • You take pride in shipping work you’d be happy to attach your name to.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ownership mindset. You can run a content calendar, hit deadlines, and follow work through from idea to impact.

  • Strong content creation skills. You turn research, raw ideas, and technical input into clear, structured, engaging content — especially long-form and editorial content.

  • Clear, thoughtful communicator. You’re proactive, open to feedback, and comfortable discussing quality, tradeoffs, and priorities.

  • Eye for detail. We work with premium, design-driven brands and expect the same level of craft and precision in all written output.

  • Working knowledge of SEO and distribution. You understand how content gets discovered, how to optimize it, and how to improve performance using real data — without writing for algorithms first.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English (clients are primarily US & UK based).

  • 2+ years of experience in a B2B content or content-focused marketing role.

Nice to have:

  • Background in a digital agency — you understand the pace, the variety of projects, and what it means to juggle multiple initiatives.

  • Experience in eCommerce — familiarity with Shopify or any commerce platform is a plus but not a must.

  • A genuine interest in fashion, lifestyle, or iconic brands — if you get excited seeing how top-tier brands tell their story online, you’ll feel right at home here.

Team

Most of the time, you’ll collaborate closely with:

All of us love what we do and care about building state-of-the-art eCommerce stores. If you like such attitude, we're definitely the right people to work with!

How our hiring process looks like?

  1. Application → We care more about what you’ve done and the results you’ve achieved than a polished CV. Send us a short message/video describing your experience, impact, and why you think you’d be a good fit for Commerce-UI, along with your CV and any relevant links or portfolio

  2. Discovery call → this is short (45 minutes) mutual check-in - we want to understand your expectations and share ours. We will talk in Polish, and English.

  3. Task→ (Paid). The goal of this homework is not to test how much you can produce, but how you think, how you make tradeoffs, and how you communicate when quality and taste matter.

  4. Presentation call → 75-90 min video call with the founders, including a brief intro and your task, followed by discussion and Q&A.

  5. Offer → if it’s a match, we’ll schedule a short call (20-30 minutes) to go over the details and next steps. If we don’t move forward we’ll do our best to give you thoughtful feedback.
