About Commerce-UI
Over the last 7 years, we've been a technology partner for top league brands (like Lady Gaga, Carhartt WIP, Pangaia, Magda Butrym or Rolex) We strive for the best possible quality by combining an eye for design and user experience with the most up-to-date technologies.
Our goal is simple: to be one of the best eCommerce tech teams in the world.
Our challenge
We’re at a strong point of growth. We continue to win top-tier clients, with most new projects coming through referrals and case studies rather than cold outreach.
Until now, marketing has been led directly by the founders (Simon and Michael). We’re now looking for someone to take ownership - working closely with us to shape and execute our marketing efforts, amplify our best work, and gradually build an internal marketing function.
Our work: https://commerce-ui.com/work
Achievements:
Winning Webby Awards 2025 (Music & Entertainement) for LadyGaga
Multiple Honorable Mentions in Awwwards
What it’s really like to work here
At Commerce-UI, we trust each other’s judgment and take pride in our craft. Everyone here owns their work - not because someone expects it, but because we care about what we build and the people we build it with.
We believe in high standards and flexibility, and we back that with real autonomy from day one. You’ll quickly see how we operate: fast, focused, and with a lot of trust that everyone knows what they’re doing.
We don’t rely on layers of management or rigid playbooks. Instead, we collaborate closely, share context openly, and help each other grow. Things move quickly, but that’s part of the fun - it’s how we learn, adapt, and ship meaningful products for iconic brands.
If you value ownership, clarity, and a team that believes in mutual trust and high craftsmanship, you’ll feel right at home with us.
Why you’ll love working here
Small, senior, passionate team - no bureaucracy, real impact
Work on ambitious, design-led projects for global brands
Freedom to shape how we build things
Competitive pay and flexible, remote-friendly culture
What We’re Looking For & What You’ll Do:
Hands-on by default. This is a builder role. You’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves and execute — writing, shaping, publishing, and iterating — with the support of the founders, our in-house design and development team, and budget for freelancers or specialists when needed. We value people who can move things forward without needing a large team to get started.
Clear, thoughtful communicator. You’re proactive, open to feedback, and able to discuss quality, tradeoffs, and priorities with the shared goal of doing work we’re proud to put our name on.
Strong content creation skills. You can turn research, raw ideas, and technical input into clear, structured, and engaging content for blogs and social channels. You’re comfortable working closely with engineers and designers and translating their thinking into accurate, compelling copy. We care about clarity and substance - not generic, keyword-stuffed, AI-style content (e.g. “fast, scalable, performant”) without real insight.
Eye for detail. We work with premium, design-driven brands and expect the same level of craft and precision in all external communication - visual and verbal. There’s no room for sloppy execution.
Partnership mindset - You’re curious about building relationships with partners, platforms, and communities - and you see value in co-marketing opportunities.
Understanding of SEO. You don’t need to be an SEO guru, but you should know how to optimize content, track performance, and make data-informed improvements using tools like Ahrefs, GA4, and Search Console.
Fluency in both verbal and written English (our clients are mainly US and UK based).
Minimum 2 years experience in a B2B marketing role.
‼️ You won’t be working in isolation. You’ll have direct access to the founders for brainstorming and fast feedback, a strong internal design and development team to help execute ideas, and the budget to bring in external freelancers or specialists when needed.
Nice to have:
Background in a digital agency - you understand the pace, the variety of projects, and what it means to juggle multiple initiatives.
Experience in eCommerce - familiarity with Shopify or any commerce platform is a plus but not a must.
A genuine interest in fashion, lifestyle, or iconic brands - if you get excited seeing how top-tier brands tell their story online, you’ll feel right at home here.
Team
Most of the time, you’ll collaborate closely with:
All of us love what we do and care about building state-of-the-art eCommerce stores. If you like such attitude, we're definitely the right people to work with!
How our hiring process looks like?
Application → We care more about what you’ve done and the results you’ve achieved than a polished CV. Send us a short message/video describing your experience, impact, and why you think you’d be a good fit for Commerce-UI, along with your CV and any relevant links or portfolio
Discovery call → this is short (45 minutes) mutual check-in - we want to understand your expectations and share ours. We will talk in Polish, and English.
Task→ (Paid). The goal of this homework is not to test how much you can produce, but how you think, how you make tradeoffs, and how you communicate when quality and taste matter.
Presentation call → 75-90 min video call with the founders, including a brief intro and your task, followed by discussion and Q&A.
Offer → if it’s a match, we’ll schedule a short call (20-30 minutes) to go over the details and next steps. If we don’t move forward we’ll do our best to give you thoughtful feedback.
