About the Team

Our specialist team of Systems Engineers and Architects serves as the company’s technical authority for Ground Segment delivery. We operate at the critical interface between satellite system design and mission operations, ensuring technical coherence and engineering excellence throughout the full system lifecycle.The team is responsible for system documentation management, requirements engineering, verification and validation activities, as well as contributing to key technology and design decisions. By working closely with satellite engineers, software development teams, and operations personnel, we bridge technical disciplines and enable robust, mission‑ready ground systems.

Systems Engineer / Systems Analyst (Satellite Systems)

Role Overview

This role acts as a technical coordination function with strong ownership of system requirements consistency, verification processes, and cross‑functional communication. You will work closely with satellite engineering teams, software developers, ground segment operators, and project managers to ensure that delivered systems meet operational, technical, and customer requirements.

The position requires a proactive and structured engineering mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively across multiple technical domains within a complex space systems environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute L1-to-L2 and L2-to-L3 requirements engineering and bi-directional traceability.

• Manage the Ground Segment Verification Control Document (VCD) and compliance status.

• Act as the technical point of contact for mission-specific projects (L2 Technical Officer duties).

• Maintain GS-level technical documentation and configuration management records.

• Support V&V activities, including the review of L3 test procedures and reports.

• Support the GS Architect in defining technical budgets (Link, Data, CPU).

Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional experience in Systems Analysis, Technical Analysis, or Systems Engineering.

• Strong background in requirements management and functional decomposition.

• Professional experience with traceability tools (e.g., Reqview, Doors, or similar).

• Proficiency in technical documentation and modeling (UML/SysML).

• Ability to manage technical communication between internal teams and external suppliers.

• Fluency in English (technical documentation and international project communication).

• Strong analytical mindset focused on system-of-systems integrity rather than unit-level coding.

• Experience with project management and task tracking tools (e.g., Redmine, Jira).
