Accounting and Reporting Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Accounting and Reporting Manager who will take ownership, drive change and ensure that our operations meet the highest legal and ethical standards as we build a new financial institution in Poland.

Remuneration: 20000 - 25000 PLN gross
Responsibilities:
Oversee the process of regular financial reporting in compliance with internal and external standards
Manage the booking of purchase invoices and ensure accuracy in financial documentation
Perform reconciliation of accounting and settlement accounts, including balance confirmations
Collaborate with all business lines to ensure high-quality and consistent financial data
Develop and maintain local accounting policies and procedures in alignment with Group standards
Establish and monitor an effective internal control system for accounting, closings and reporting processes
Lead statutory reporting activities, including preparation and submission of financial statements
Coordinate external audits and contribute to Group-level consolidated financial statements
Manage the filing of all tax declarations
Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements
Offer guidance on new and existing banking products and services from an accounting and tax standpoint
Monitor changes in local finance and tax regulations and adapt internal processes accordingly
Requirements:
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the banking sector
Solid knowledge of Polish market regulations and financial reporting standards
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Fluency in English
Experience in FinRep (nice to have)
