Investment Compliance Analyst



Responsibilities:


  •  Support the team in providing high-quality depositary monitoring services, ensuring that clients comply with regulatory requirements and corporate trusteeship obligations

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, fiduciary countries, fund administrators, and third-party vendors, ensuring clear, professional communication and meeting all deadlines

  • Investigate and validate portfolio managers’ exceptions or breaches against UCITS / AIFMD regulations in post-trade compliance systems

  • Resolve data discrepancies between the bank records and client-provided information (maker-checker role)

  • Participate in assigned projects, taking initiative to lead or co-lead activities and provide regular updates

  • Respond to both standard and ad-hoc client queries in a timely and professional manner

  • Step into supervisor duties during team leader absences to ensure smooth process management

  • Coordinate onboarding of new clients, processes, and solutions within the team and department


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial services or related fields (ideally investment funds)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred)

  • Very good command of English and Polish (oral and written)

  • Previous experience in banking, asset management, brokerage firms, or financial audit is a strong advantage

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies and potential breaches in financial data


    Nice to have:


  • Understanding of investment products (e.g., equities, bonds, mutual funds, derivatives)

  • Knowledge of how investment and pension funds operate, including their structure, investment limits, and legal restrictions

  • Familiarity with key regulations such as UCITS and AIFMD, and the ability to apply them in daily work

  • Experience in reviewing and analysing transactions for compliance with regulatory and fund-specific requirements
