About the job

This position works within Danone’s Quality & Food Safety Department in our Bierun Factory and is responsible for leading the Quality and Food Safety Assurance Process in production plant.

Main responsibilities:

• ensuring production is executed in full compliance with Quality Management System and internal and external QFS standards required by customers/market/brands - customer/consumer centric approach

• ensuring continuous improvement of QFS scope in place, regular revision of QFS performance with robust action plan with use of tool PNC, RCA, CAPA, etc, including non-conformity management & continuous improvement

• consumer centric approach: management of all complaints (consumers and customers and authorities and NGOs) to ensure proper and robust RCA and CAPA execution across the plant to prevent the reoccurrence and drive positive trends in performance

• ensuring Factory QFS standards compliance to Danone, regulatory, legal standards at all levels of factory organization

• managing programs: authorities contacts, external / local requirements

• ensuring whole end to end operations are executed in compliance to Food Safety risk management standard

• ensuring efficient cleaning and sanitation compliant with FS standards and risk assessment

• being a main point of contact for other department in the factory regarding the QFS standards and topics ensuring sufficient time and leadership to develop QFS capability within factory teams

• ensuring the Quality Management System within the factory meets the needs of the product and consumer

• being responsible for QFS systems certification process

• monitoring and ensuring continuous improvement of QFS performance and consumer satisfaction metrics, reporting, data and insights analytics and make strategies for addressing gaps and performance issue as well as recognizing good performance

• leading the internal and external audits process, ensuring governance in line with Danone, Clients standards

• ensuring audit non-conformances are followed up and closed

• ensuring transparency in reporting issues, KPIs and QFS risks using the Danone systems and standards to evaluate product performance and protect brand integrity

• escalating and managing issues and potential QFS risks timely, to appropriate stakeholders while fully securing product, brand integrity and consumer safety. This includes risk due to factory team capability, performance or product non-conformance

• ensuring robust action plans created from a deep root cause analysis are in place and follow up on action closure

• being an IWS expert and co-leader of site Quality Pillar To develop the capabilities within the QFS team to deliver & execute the digital and IWS agenda

About you

We expect you have:

• university degree in a relevant field (e.g. Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Quality Management)

• minimum of 5 years of experience in the food industry quality area, including at least 2 years in a managerial position in Production Plant Solid knowledge of food safety and quality systems (e.g. FSSC 22000, HACCP, BRC, IFS)

• proven ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively

• very good command of English, both spoken and written

• proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

• experience in working with IWS system as an advantage
