Validation Test Engineer

In this position, you will join the Validation Center in R&D department. Together with the team, you overtake the responsibility to ensure the proper validation of the DM products and enabling the new product development projects to keep their committed targets. Moreover, you support the Quality department when it comes to testing for external customers and in the field of laboratory accreditation activities.

These are your tasks:

• You will be responsible for test analysis, test design, test implementation, test execution and test completion within the framework of development projects in the field of validation at the system and acceptance test level.
• You will maintain our product portfolio at the highest quality level, you will conduct product failure analyses related to production issues or customer complaints.
• Your will be responsible for the planning, execution, analysis and completion of periodic control tests for already existing products in the market.
• You bring testing experience and a high level of motivation to the validation team to support our strategic growth area at Diehl Metering regarding connectivity and solutions.
• You are in close exchange with developers and testers from different disciplines within the development area to support the early integration of the developed solution into the Diehl Metering System as early as possible

What you bring:

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
• Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in testing electronic products in the development field.
• You are resilient and adaptable in dealing with time and cost pressure, can communicate skillfully, are empathetic, and open to new challenges.
• Very good English skills as well as openness to international collaboration complete your profile.
• An ISTQB Certified Tester certification is a plus.
