Social Video Content Creator

We're on the hunt for a Social Video Content Creator to join Displate's in-house Creative Team. Primary output is short-form video - authentic content that builds audience connection and keeps the brand relevant on social platforms. Works closely with the team on concepts and direction; the defining quality is what they bring in front of the camera.

Areas of accountability:

1. On-camera content

• Serve as the primary on-camera presence for short-form social video

• Deliver content that is natural, energetic, and consistent with Displate's brand personality

2. Content ideation

• Contribute ideas for hooks, formats, and concepts informed by current social media trends

• Collaborate with the team on briefs that translate brand objectives into platform-native content

3. Recording participation

• Participate in studio and on-location recording sessions; provide variations for post-production flexibility

4. Performance & iteration

• Monitor content performance and conclude what drives engagement

• Iterate on tone, format, and presentation based on data and creative direction

General expectations:

• Genuinely at ease in front of a camera - natural, not performed

• Energetic and personable; able to carry content without heavy scripting

• Plugged into social media; aware of what is working in short-form video right now

• Open to creative direction; iterates quickly on feedback

• Fluent English - primary language of our audience

• Personal content creation experience is a genuine signal (social portfolio welcome)
