Senior Finance Systems Manager

As a Senior Finance Systems Manager, you will be managing and optimizing our financial systems, mainly Netsuite. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. You will also work with our Tech and Operations Team to ensure that our financial systems integrate seamlessly with our other systems. You will serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support all company activities including but not limited to system implementations, integrations, and process consultations.

THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT

• Manage and optimize our financial systems, mainly Netsuite, and integrations with NetSuite

• Continuously improve our financial processes and find ways to streamline and automate basic operational tasks; provide recommendations to improve business processes and procedures

• Perform operational support including master data maintenance, user access, system and integration troubleshooting

• Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported, especially during month end close

• Liaise with the other business users, other application teams and IT to understand initiatives, dependencies and necessary coordination

• Lead the projects for system development (including the work with external vendors)

• Develop and maintain documentation for process flows, integrations, and other customizations

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in financial technology

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or a related field

• 8 years of experience with a range of Finance Systems administration and implementations (at least 5 with ERP, preferably with Oracle NetSuite)

• Strong experience with system integrations and implementation of new ERP

  
  

• Setting up new objects in company Finance systems and all interdependencies (PayHawk, all NetSuite modules, Zone Capture, Zone Reconciliation, Cobase)

• ERP customizations: integration development, reports, custom fields, custom records, advanced workflows, scripting

• Optimization of system performance

  
  

• Advanced level knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets

• General level SQL and/or any object-oriented language

• General knowledge of financial processes, procedures, double entries and reporting structure (transaction impact to statement)

  
  

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
