We organize the E-commerce Berlin Expo – one of Germany's most recognized e-commerce events. From our Poznań office, we manage year-round operations, connecting the e-commerce community across Europe.
We’re looking for a Business Development Specialist/Manager (hybrid work model or fully remote possible if there is a great fit) to help us grow in the market. You’ll work with qualified leads, manage the full sales cycle, and explore new business opportunities. This role is perfect for someone with experience in B2B sales and partnerships, ideally in tech, e-commerce, or events. You’ll collaborate with the team during the E-commerce Berlin Expo and other key industry events across Europe.

Team size: 15–20 people
Industry: Event organization (trade fairs & conferences)
Your responsibilities:
Lead initiatives to acquire and secure clients in the German-speaking & worldwide market, supporting their success while driving business growth
Own and drive the full sales cycle, from initial contact and negotiations to closing high-value deals, with strategic oversight and support from a dedicated lead generation team. You will be not responsible for generating Leads!
Your focus is on online Meetings and you will share the value of being an exhibitor at the E-Commerce Berlin Expo
Develop and strengthen long-term partnerships with existing clients and strategic partners, focusing on retention and long-term value
Participate in and support the company’s activities at major industry events across Europe such as OMR and DMEXCO (6-8 business trips during the year)
What we’re looking for:
Fluent German and English, comfortable with day-to-day business communication and negotiations (50% German, 50% English in your daily work communication); knowledge of Polish is a plus but not required
Ability to drive B2B sales and develop partnerships. Nice to have are 2+ years of experience closing high-value deals and fostering strong client relationships
Strategic and proactive communicator, experienced in managing high-value clients (Allegro, DHL, Amazon, Walmart, Shopware and many more) and negotiations
A genuine interest in e-commerce, tech, or the events industry is a plus. It will make your job easier :)

Guaranteed competitive base salary, with performance-based commission on closed deals (AVG payout 14,3k PLN net)
