Data Engineer - Azure Databricks

FERCHAU Poland is searching for a Data Engineer to support an ongoing project within the automotive sector. You will join a remote data team working on the development of modern data solutions in the Azure environment, with a focus on building data interfaces and improving reporting tools used in daily operations.

Your responsibilities

• Working on data interfaces in Azure Databricks (both new ones and updates to existing solutions)

• Preparing web-based views used in current applications

• Improving Power BI reports and dashboards

• Keeping documentation of data processes and workflows up to date

• Supporting CI/CD processes on the Azure platform

• Working on and clarifying backlog items using Jira

• Cooperating with different teams in a remote setup

The right qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience in a data engineering role

• Experience working with Azure Databricks

• Good knowledge of SQL and either Python or Scala

• Experience with Power BI, including building and updating reports and dashboards

• Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, or similar ways of working

• Experience with Jira

• Very good English skills (at least B2+ level) used in daily communication and documentation
