Digital Control Systems Commissioning Engineer (Power Systems)

Location: Commissioning works will take place at facilities across Poland and Europe. The first projects are planned in the Pomeranian region, specifically in Osieki Lęborskie.

Tasks:

• Configuration and on-site testing of DCS and Cybersecurity solutions

• Verification of project design compliance with Polish regulations

• Coordination of project design across multinational teams

• Management of technical discussions between stakeholders to align client requirements with feasibility

• Aftersales support for clients in the region

• Technical support for project, sales, and tendering teams

• Delivery of customer trainings, including presentations and hands-on sessions

Requirements:

• Technical education in automation, IT systems, or electrotechnical fields

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position

• Mandatory: valid SEP (Association of Polish Electrical Engineers) certificates for operation (E) and/or supervision (D) without voltage limitations, allowing work on power facilities

• Experience with communication protocols used in power substations is a plus, e.g. IEC 61850, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-104/101/103, Modbus

• Familiarity with network management protocols, such as SNMP

• Hands-on experience with HMI interfaces and SCADA gateways, e.g. Zenon (preferred), SPRECON, SYNDIS RV, PACIS, etc.

• Knowledge of network security, including hardening, whitelisting, and CyberSecurity best practices

• Ability to configure network devices, firewalls, routers, domain controllers, etc.

• Familiarity with industrial communication security standards, such as IEC 62443, will be an asset

• Fluency in Polish and good command of English, both spoken and written
