Work mode: Hybrid from Cracow or remote after onboarding, with occasional business travel

Your respon­si­bi­li­ties

• Design of elec­trical systems for petro­che­mical and refi­nery industry

• Plan­ning, manage­ment, moni­to­ring, review and approval of disci­pline work in line with required quality, project speci­fi­ca­tions and contrac­tual requi­re­ments

• Analysis and evalua­tion of tech­nical contract annexes; prepa­ra­tion of the project-specific Elec­trical Disci­pline Job Manual inclu­ding rele­vant speci­fi­ca­tions and contrac­tual condi­tions

• Prepa­ra­tion of project docu­men­ta­tion such as project speci­fi­ca­tions, one-line diagrams, protec­tion and control sche­ma­tics, terminal connec­tion diagrams, substa­tion layouts

• Execu­tion of elec­trical calcu­la­tions: shor­t‑­cir­cuit calcu­la­tions, power balance, cable sizing, ligh­ting inten­sity calcu­la­tions, groun­ding and light­ning protec­tion calcu­la­tions

• Prepa­ra­tion of layout drawings inclu­ding consumer loca­tions, cable tray routing, ligh­ting and groun­ding layouts

• Prepa­ra­tion of instal­la­tion typi­cals and mate­rial take-off

• Coor­di­na­tion of package units, inter­faces with other disci­plines, client repre­sen­ta­tives and vendors

• Prepa­ra­tion of inquiry packages for elec­trical equip­ment in accor­dance with contrac­tual and project speci­fi­ca­tion requi­re­ments

• Parti­ci­pa­tion in Factory Accep­tance Tests for elec­trical equip­ment

• Input for subcon­trac­ting inclu­ding BoQ; super­vi­sion of erec­tion works

• Veri­fi­ca­tion of project and vendor docu­men­ta­tion for comple­teness and compli­ance with stan­dards, regu­la­tions and contract requi­re­ments

Your profile

• Master's degree in Elec­trical Engi­nee­ring

• 5+ years of expe­ri­ence in a plant engi­nee­ring company in an elec­trical engi­nee­ring func­tion

• Com­mu­ni­ca­tion and coor­di­na­tion with other disci­plines, aligned with project work­flow

• Repor­ting and coor­di­na­tion with the Engi­nee­ring Manager regar­ding manpower needs, sche­dule, budget, produc­ti­vity, prio­ri­ties and tech­nical solu­tions

• Abi­lity to work inde­pen­dently on proposal prepa­ra­tion and project execu­tion for dome­stic and inter­na­ti­onal elec­trical engi­nee­ring projects

• Coor­di­na­tion with vendors, suppliers, manu­fac­turers and client tech­nical specia­lists

• Fluent English

• Know­ledge of appli­ca­tions such as MS Office, ACAD, Dialux

• Know­ledge of ETAP or similar power system analysis soft­ware as an advan­tage

• Rea­di­ness to work in a multi­cul­tural team and willing­ness for travel

• Strong inter­per­sonal skills
