Lead Engineer - Instru­men­ta­tion & Control Systems

As a member of a global team, you will oversee the control system scope of a rotating equipment project. Working alongside other project members and content providers, primarily from System Engineering, you will ensure seamless project execution.

Your responsibilities:

• Development and specification of Unit Control Systems, Instrumentation, and Low Voltage Wiring for rotating machinery in industrial applications

• Creation of P&IDs, instrument lists, control logics, wiring schematics, and panel layouts

• Selection and specification of instrumentation and control valves based on project requirements

• Compliance assurance with international standards and customer specifications

• Execution of Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT) for control systems

• Coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and customers for project execution

• Support for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems

• Enhancement of engineering processes with a focus on COMOS PT development and requirements management

Impress us with your qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls, or Automation Engineering or equivalent

• 3+ years of experience in Instrumentation or Controls within heavy industries (e.g., oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical, process, manufacturing/packaging equipment)

• Strong knowledge of international standards (API, DIN/EN, ISO, EX-protection).

• Coordination of business interactions with both internal teams and external partners

• Fluent English for effective communication in a global work environment

• Willingness to work from the Łódź office at least 3 days per week

Preferred:

• Knowledge of industrial rotating equipment (compressors, turbines, motors, generators, pumps, gears)

• Experience in supplier sales, commercial processes, and contract execution

• Application experience with objects-oriented Engineering Software e.g., COMOS PT

• Knowledge and use of software: Teamcenter, SAP, Jira, Microsoft office

• Experience in offshore/onshore installation and commissioning

• International business experience and a team-oriented mindset with networking and collaboration skills
