Manu­fac­tu­ring Auto­ma­tion Engi­neer

Ferchau Poland is seeking an Auto­ma­tion Engi­neer to support opera­ti­onal stra­tegy by ensu­ring that machines and equip­ment are kept safe and fully opera­ti­onal, enab­ling the conti­nuous produc­tion of photonic swit­ches for modern fiber-optic networks.

Your area of respon­si­bi­lity:

• Desi­gning and imple­men­ting auto­mated assembly equip­ment to enhance capa­city, quality, and produc­tion yields

• Pro­vi­ding hands-on tech­nical support for auto­mated assembly machines and processes on - site

• Deve­lo­ping new processes in colla­bo­ra­tion with assembly equip­ment suppliers

• Eva­lua­ting and asses­sing new equip­ment and produc­tion processes

• Sup­por­ting project manage­ment for the intro­duc­tion of new processes and equip­ment

Your profile:

• 5+ years of expe­ri­ence in high-preci­sion assembly within auto­mated produc­tion envi­ron­ments

• Expe­ri­ence program­ming high-preci­sion electro-mecha­nical systems, inclu­ding PLCs, and working with sequen­cing/control soft­ware

• Skills in deve­lo­ping new equip­ment, assembly processes and trans­fer­ring them to manu­fac­tu­ring

• Strong manual dexte­rity and ability to design assembly/auto­ma­tion methods, under­stan­ding compo­nent, process, and product inter­ac­tions

• Able to read and inter­pret auto­ma­tion, pneu­matic, and elec­trical sche­ma­tics

• Know­ledge of machine safety

• Pro­fi­cient in nume­rical, expe­ri­mental, and stati­stical problem-solving

• Fami­lia­rity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 tools, inclu­ding PowerBI and SPC

• Effec­tive commu­ni­ca­tion in Polish and English (verbal and written)

N2H:

• Expe­ri­ence with fiber optic products

• Laser welding or solde­ring expe­ri­ence

• German language skills
