Protection & Control Commissioning Engineer (Power Systems)

Location: Commissioning works will take place at facilities across Poland and Europe. The first projects are planned in the Pomeranian region, specifically in Osieki Lęborskie.

Tasks:

• Coordinating design works between the team and stakeholders, including international partners

• Reviewing projects for compliance with applicable local regulations

• Acting as a subject matter expert in network automation and leading key technical discussions

• Supervising the calculation process and selection of protection settings

• Supporting the development of complete project documentation

• Cooperating with production units to align customer requirements with execution capabilities

• Providing ongoing technical support for sales and tendering project teams

• Configuring and commissioning Protection & Control solutions on-site

Requirements:

• Higher technical education in protective and control automation for power systems, electrical engineering, electrotechnics & automation, or related fields

• Mandatory: valid SEP (Association of Polish Electrical Engineers) certificates for operation (E) and supervision (D) without voltage limitations, allowing work on power facilities

• Experience with power systems, particularly transmission networks and power system protections, or experience in industrial automation in other industries

• Knowledge of medium- and high-voltage (MV/HV) electrical systems, including busbar applications, relevant standards, technical specifications, requirements, and communication protocols

• Experience with computer networks (switches, routers, communication gateways, etc.) will be an additional advantage

• Fluency in Polish and good command of English, both spoken and written
