Service/Commis­sioning Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Commissioning and servicing of lifting equipment worldwide
• Focus primarily on automation and electro-automation
• Diagnosing and repairing technical issues
• Performing initial cable connection tests (I/O test, loop check)
• Commissioning and configuring electric drives
• Collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues
• Testing equipment after installation to ensure proper functionality
• Creating technical documentation related to commissioning
• Providing technical support to customers

What we expect of you

• Higher technical education (preferred fields: automation, mechanics, electrical engineering)
• Experience working with mechanical devices and electric drives
• Experience in commissioning and understanding the construction of electrical cabinets
• Experience in testing electrical cabinets and installations (I/O check, loop check)
• Knowledge and understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Willingness to travel frequently internationally and work at sea
• Communicative level of English proficiency
