Operations Specialist

Fibertide employs engineers with strong mathematical and computer science backgrounds. We design, maintain and develop large-scale cloud systems for companies from the U.S. and Europe. Our customers include both ambitious startups and established businesses that require assistance improving their technologies for large userbases, big datasets and rapid growth.

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to work directly with our management team. You will be the central node of our organization – connecting departments, unblocking workflows, and ensuring that our operational execution is as seamless as our technical delivery.

• Enabling and supporting other teams by taking care of work outside their core domain, either by handling it yourself or coordinating with the right experts.

• Creating, maintaining, and polishing company policies to ensure high-quality standards and clear workflows are accessible to everyone.

• Handling research tasks and operational challenges that don't fit into a specific department but need immediate attention.

• Ensuring smooth information flow between different parts of the company (e.g. Management, Engineering, Administration, Recruitment) to prevent bottlenecks.

• Coordinating initiatives, from planning client trips to organizing meetups and conferences.

• Researching solutions, workflows, and tools to identify operational improvements and recommend efficiencies for specific areas or the company as a whole.

• Coordinating collaborations and maintaining professional communication with external partners, agencies, and service providers.

We expect that you...

• Have at least 4 years of professional experience in IT, working in a role requiring the listed skills (preferably within software development services or high-tech companies).

• Will impress us with your exceptional organizational skills and proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Are familiar with the business & IT environment and understand how a modern software consultancy operates.

• Are technologically fluent and skilled with our standard stack (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack), with the ability to quickly learn new tools and introduce them to the team.

• Have great communication skills, allowing you to represent the company professionally to external partners and clients, while ensuring clear and precise internal collaboration.

• Are fluent in English and Polish (C1+ level), giving you the flexibility to operate seamlessly in both international and domestic business contexts.

Bonus points if you…

• have a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Business,

• have experience with legal or security compliance (e.g. designing and implementing policies related to ISO27001),

• live in or close to Wrocław or Kraków.
