Key activities:

  • HR Applied Knowledge: Recognized internally and externally as an expert in HR matters. Use breakthrough theory and practice to steer HR program design and implementation to achieve the desired results, and actively contributes to the development of the overall HR strategy and provide expertise to business and HR management.
  • Compliance and Policies: Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures, including compliance with local labor laws and organizational regulations. Developing, delivering, and supporting HR policies & procedures to meet the strategic goals of the business and the function. Seek out ways to improve work standards, methodology, and processes in the HR community to achieve productivity measures.
  • Business Unit Management: Effective in establishing strong relationships across the organization, with skills in influencing and communicating effectively with employees and management. Interact with management and senior personnel on matters requiring coordination across functional areas to achieve best practices. Support business and HR colleagues through training, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Program Management: Direct HR programs for the business and make recommendations for program expectations and direction. Identify and understand HR issues, company needs and problems to effectively address and resolve situations.
  • Performance Management: Establish and improve work standards, methodology, and processes in the HR community to achieve productivity measures. Maintain contact with staff to ensure a clear understanding of the organizational unit’s priorities. Ensure objectives are agreed with management and consistently work toward them.
  • Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to measure and enhance employee engagement, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
  • Data & Analytics: Leverage HR analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, engagement and productivity, informing decision-making across all levels of the business
  • Fulfilling work time obligations.
  • Participation in obligatory training courses to which the employer will refer the employee.
  • The employee is obliged to comply with the obligation to carry out other superiors' orders regarding work in accordance with the law and the type of work specified in the contract.

 

Competencies:

  • Fluent in verbal and written English and Polish is a must
  • Expertise and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • At least 3 years in a similar role as HR Manager
  • Very good working knowledge of Polish employment legislation and labor code
  • Great stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication – ability to communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and managers.
  • Strong customer orientation and business awareness
  • Creative problem solving – ability to fix issues, being resourceful, and not giving up easily
  • Resilient, agile and experienced in working within demanding professional environments
  • “Can-do” attitude and passion for continuous improvement
  • Good IT skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Highly organized, able to coordinate projects and project teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and solid analytical skills
