Supply Chain Forecasting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Creating statistical forecasts for the entire product portfolio, taking into account demand factors,

• Research on demand factors, preparation of forecast data, assessment of forecast effectiveness,

• Monitoring and reporting on specific KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, forecast BIAS, MAPE, forecast value add) at multiple levels and lags and provide insights on contributing factors and improvement opportunities,

• Selecting the best statistical model for forecast items that cannot be modeled by the system considering seasonality, responsiveness, trend, and stability,

• Contributing to Promotion Planning based on data insights, Running Machine Learning forecast and disaggregation to building blocks,

• Making sure the final output (cleaned data) is completed in the system,

• Generating historical demand performance reports and ensuring all the needed actions are considered for forecasting,

• For new product introduction, analyze proposal of like-SKU and collaborate with Demand Planners to generate the initial forecasts, additionally consider cannibalization impacts,

• Optimizing and tuning statistical forecasts, updating system parameters after conducting the necessary analysis to identify improvement opportunities,

• Tracking and monitoring changes to allow for continuous improvement.

  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math, or other relevant degree,

• Strong understanding of at least advanced planning systems and their functionality, e.g. Kinaxis (Rapid Response), o9 Solutions,

• Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset,

• Demonstrated experience in Forecasting (Statistical Techniques, Collaboration Scenario Modeling, Parameters modeling),

• Strong analytical skills,

• Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute to a collaborative team environment, \

• An ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of client focus,

• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail, with a desire to learn.
